  6. Q: Is this a general release of Febbs?

  8. A: No, this is a gamma release. A gamma release is not a general release
  9.    but it is a test release of the general release. Anyone who wants to
  10.    can run this release and it should be as bugfree as possible but there
  11.    might still be a couple of bugs in the code.

  14. Q: Does this version of Febbs support RemoteAccess version 2.00?

  16. A: Febbs v1.95g1 fully supports RemoteAccess v1.xx. It will also read
  17.    RA v2.xx area file but it will not handle the RA v2.xx filebase.
  18.    Febbs v1.95 has been largly rewritten to be able to in the future fully
  19.    support RemoteAccess v2.xx and a new version 2.00 of Febbs will be
  20.    released as soon as possible after the release of v1.95.

  22.    This way we are able to give non RA v2.xx users of Febbs a new release
  23.    with lots of new features. It will also give us a chance to divert our
  24.    attention totaly to a RA v2.xx specific version and that should speed up
  25.    the development.

  28. Q: Will there be an OS/2 version of Febbs?

  30. A: We are also planning on releasing an OS/2 version of Febbs as soon as
  31.    we have the RA v2.xx support finished.

  34. Q: Will this release be sent out to does who have a subscription on updates
  35.    of the program?

  37. A: No, the users of the subscription program will not recieve this version
  38.    of the program since it is not a general release of the program. When
  39.    the gamma cycle is finnished all subscribers will recieve the general
  40.    product.
